Marmara
Description
Marmara is a small village on the island of Paros, part of the Cyclades group of islands in Greece. It is located in the eastern part of Paros and is known for its marble quarries, which have been in operation since ancient times and have given the village its name (Marmara is the Greek word for marble).
Marmara is situated in the interior of the island, nestled among hills, and is part of the community that includes the nearby villages of Marpissa, Prodromos, and Piso Livadi.
